Notes:
1/ Estimated cost to purchase a new or used Workbench, Hood, Troutman, Sewing Machine, a computer system, printer, phone, credit card processor, small refrigerator, eyewash station, AED and blood pressure cuffs.
2/ This includes furniture, supplies and signs necessary for you to open your Clinic and to be accredited
3/ This includes all required products, materials and logo items necessary for you to open your Clinic.
4/ The initial training program consists of two (2) non-consecutive weeks; the first and third weeks of training may be held at our offices in North Canton, Ohio, or at an alternate site designated by us and the second week of mandatory training online or at our facility.
5/ We recommend that you lease the premises for your Clinic. We have no requirements regarding the amount of investment that you must make in the premises of your Clinic. Because of the variables associated within establishing premises for your Clinic, (for example, size of premises, location of premises, whether remodeling or improvements are needed, and real property market conditions), this expense varies widely. If you lease space, your monthly rent could vary greatly depending on the type of location and the geographic location you select for your Clinic. No estimate is furnished for expenses associated with the purchase of real property and the construction of leasehold improvements because of the wide range of Possible costs. The typical Clinic has 1,200 to 1,600 square feet with a minimum of 1,200 square feet. Lease rental depends on many factors, including the location of the Clinic, and may vary from $7.00 to $25.00 per square foot, excluding Clinic build-out cost. We highly recommend rental facilities versus owned properties like office condominiums or free-standing commercial buildings. Leasehold improvement costs incurred in connection with the development of the Clinic include numerous improvements (i.e. painting, carpeting and construction) all of which must be completed to our satisfaction before you are accredited and Grand Opening. Improvement costs depend on factors like size, conditions and location of leased premises. You should try to amortize leasehold improvement costs over the first term of the Lease Agreement.
6/ This includes expenses such as security deposits to your landlord and various utilities, and licenses and permits.
7/ This estimates your initial start-up expenses for a 1 to 6 month period. These expenses include working capital for payroll costs, utility payments and other expenses. These figures are estimates and we cannot guarantee that you will not have additional expenses starting the business. Your costs will depend on factors such as: how much you follow our methods and procedures, your management skill, experience and business acumen, local economic conditions, the local market for our products, the prevailing wage rate, competition, sales level reached during the initial period and the sales ability of your personnel. There are also government delays in obtaining accreditation, insurance numbers and contracts which you must be aware of.
NOTE: All of the above figures are ranges only. Local area conditions and other changes may vary. Unless otherwise noted, none of the expenses described in this chart is refundable.
